The Martian, by Andy Weir. I"m a science fiction fan and am really liking this! Recommended it to my husband and he read it in 2 days! Think I will have DS read it too since he loves science. Will have to tell him to close his eyes at all the cuss words.
Since my last post, I have finished The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt and The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin.
I'm currently reading This One is Mine by Maria Semple, but I'm not really enjoying it much. I read another one of her books that I really liked, so thought this would be good.
I need to find some other books to put on my library request list.
Picked up 4 books yesterday. The new Nicholas Sparks "See Me" and the new Debbie Macomber "Dashing through the Snow". I need to read See Me first as there are a lot of people on the waiting list. Seems good so far!
Finished the Nicholas Sparks book and I dare say at some stage it will become a movie. It was good but a little long for me.
Tonight I will start Debbie Macomber "Dashing through the Snow".
Can't remember exactly what I posted last so here's my list:
Spellcasting in Silk I finished If You've Got It, Haunt It Purl Up and Die The Things that Keep us Here The Ocean at the End of the Lane All Dressed Up and No Place to Haunt Ghost of a Potion Candy Corn Murder
and now i'm finishing up Ghost to the Rescue by Carolyn Hart. Next up is The Beach Street Knitting Society and Yarn Club.
Wow Jess that is quite a list. One of my goals this year was to read 20 books (too much ipad not enough reading). I need to read two more and I can tick that off my list.
Will be going to the library today to pick up two more books and to drop some back.
Am reading Danielle Steele's "Country". I am finding it a bit tough going to start with but like all her books I think I will enjoy it when I get into it.
I really enjoyed The Beach Street Knitting Society and Yarn Club although it ended rather abruptly I think.
I just finished reading The 13th Gift and if you haven't read it, READ IT! It was a wonderful start to the Christmas season reading and really brings about the true meaning of giving. It is sad in some parts, I won't lie, but very touching at the same time.
Now i'm getting ready to start In the Woods by Tana French, a psychological thriller. My new book club is also getting ready to start reading A Fall of Marigolds next week.
