Didn’t get to my top last week did get the first sock done and second one started.
So this weeks plan is top and second sock.

Checked out 2 quilt shops last week, one I didn’t know existed. No luck finding fabric. There’s one more shop I’ll check out this week. Amish country is pushed to next week.
Made some coasters from fabric scraps and finished a zippered bag since I finally had the right color zipper.
Will start the purse I have cut out tomorrow. Will take awhile as it’s a new pattern.

Greetings!

We're going on a short trip to open at the lake, so I'll take along my knitting, cross stitch and some sewing in case I can get to it. Otherwise, I hope to get a table topper (machine embroidery) made for DD#2 and perhaps work on one or more of my WIP quilts when we are home. I'm still looking for coordinating fabric to make placemats. I can check out one or more fabric/quilt stores on our way to/from the lake.

I could never craft, read, look at my phone as we drive. I would be ill.

I'm a road-trip knitter. I've never had a problem with motion sickness. In fact, we were on a ferry once, and they warned us about rough water. I was disappointed that it actually wasn't.

I am a poor traveler. The vertigo thing doesn’t help.
Working on my purse slowly. It’s going smoothly but I’ve been busy all week so not much a chance to work on it.
Took some photos today of one of our blossoming trees. Will take more tomorrow hoping the buds open more. Plan to use one photo as a Easter card next year.
