I got the rest of the stuff today to try the CIJ ornament that I am thinking about. Will do one or 2 the first step before going to bed.

What is your plan for the week?

Got a few things ordered for the small item for I want to try for the 12 Days of Christmas swap.

Happy Happy Crafting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greetings!

I need to finish two birthday cards early in the week, one today. I will continue knitting on the socks now and then, but I do most of my knitting in the car. Don't know if I'll have much chance for that this week.

I'm hoping to go to Open Sew tomorrow, but I'm not sure if Kathy will want to go. If not, I can always sew at home on my own. If I'm at home, I'd like to start quilting the teal pinwheel quilt. If I go to Open Sew, I will work on a peach 3-yard quilt and/or my king size quilt.

I also plan to work on some CCS motifs for Mother's Day cards in the evenings.

Finished the double flip bag (emmaline bags). Will start the necessary clutch wallet tomorrow to match. Was nice to use my stash. Didn’t have to buy a thing for it.

My plan is to continue knitting the cardigan. Just the sleeves and binding to go.

Didn't like the way the cowl was working up so I ripped it out.

Went back to working on a shawl that I started a long while ago and will probably continue until I finish it.

No worries @Rose94 but if you want to know, when you first upload the picture, it has an adjustable square around it and you can drag it smaller. Sometimes, you may have to tap or click the picture to see the lines.

Greetings!

Rose ~ Fabulous socks! The ones I'm knitting for DSonIL are quite plain. He'll probably like them that way. I thought I was buying yarn (online) that was a self-patterning yarn, but it's not.

I did a little work on the watercolor placemats yesterday, mostly to get them out of the way (craftermath control) so that I could work on some quilting. After futzing around with some quilting ideas and techniques, I finally ended up with a machine embroidery design that I like, so I was able to get most of the first row of the quilt quilted. I also finished a small CCS motif that will be used for a Mother's Day card.

Pretty socks! I love that pattern and those colors!!!
Still picking away on the wallet.
I have an idea for a new purse. I saw a Vera Bradly (90$) in the gift shop that pretty much looks like the Riviera pattern I make. It would just need a few alterations. So have been writing so notes and a few drawings. Do I need another project?, no!

This is the yarn left over from the socks. Not enough to do another pr of socks. Thinking using it for a double thick hat(sock yarn double layer hat) for charity. Just not sure if I will do all yarn from one and than the other—starting the second ball with last colour from first or both at the same time so same colour is all together. Thoughts? Have enough of the solid colour to do the second layer of hat.

Halfway done on the cards I am working on and the swatch for the sweater is done. Just need to wet and block it to make sure I have the right gauge.

Rose, I think either way would be fine. That yarn is beautiful.

Rummaged through the thrift shop today when I dropped a donation off. I scored big!!! Rolls of zipper tape (red, black, and white), some #3 some #5. I got 100 yards total for 10$. I use both in bag making and zippers are on the expensive side. 2 boxes of pulls to match, (85 total) for 6$. I also found photo insert valentines cards. 10 cards for .30 cents. I’m going to do a valentines embroidery for a insert. My husband just shook his head.

Finished my wallet. Turned out good.
Starting a runner for the window seat for summer. Just a scrappy thing. Will keep me busy until I get all my quilt fabric.
Planning to go to Amish country next week for fabric if it ever stops raining.
