Hello! Late last night I remembered I used to visit this site. I logged in and saw it has been 10 years. Wow! Anyone still here who was here 2008-2014? How are you? What parts of the board are still active? I miss older forums like this and prefer them to more current social media.

Welcome back! I know I've been on here for a long time, but just checked and my "join" date was in 2018. I know followed the Holiday Grand Plan for many years before that. Chit Chat, Kitchen Chatter, and the holiday-specific threads are favorites, and the holiday cleaning plan threads help to keep me on track with holiday prep.

Welcome back! I joined in 2011 but I had a hiatus for about a year in between then and now. I've helped coordinate Christmas in July and Rudolph Days at one point or another. Love the camaraderie here, I have to agree that sometimes current social media is lacking a personal touch.

@Miss JoDee has been heading up Christmas in July recently and I think she has the plan for 2024 in place, but you might want to send her a message if you're interested in being a host for a day or two. I'm pretty sure Rudolph Days all have hostesses for this year - you can check the board to see what's planned.

Oh goodness some of your usernames are definitely ones I recognize! Glad to be back.

The kid I last wrote about is now a teen and taller than I am. I have another child as well, and a dog and 4 cats. My husband and I are not far from our 20th anniversary. I work from home part-time now, and am working through my TBR list on goodreads. That's all that is new with me.

I think some forums are open to the public and some are private. My understanding is that you have to be a premium member to have access to private forums.
