Here we go, the sign-up to host this year's Rudolph Day movies - all you have to do is pick a movie and a month, and post a message to remind everyone a couple of days before so they can dig out the month's selection to enjoy while they are working on Christmas planning.

Here's a reminder of the 2016 movies:
January - happy2bme - White Christmas
February - housewife2 - Home Alone
March - jampss - Muppet Christmas Carol
April - momof9 - Arthur Christmas
May - PamelaG - The Holiday
June - sweetpumkinpye - ELF
July - Sugarplum - Christmas Vacation
August - aggy - The Man Who Saved Christmas/Jack Frost
September - AuntJamelle - The Christmas Box
October - tanya - Love The Coopers
November - snowlvr - Miracle on 34th Street - 1947 version

Here's the list for 2017 - please leave a note if the movie is available on Netflix if it's one that might not be in everyone's collection - I'll start us off:
January - PamelaG - The Christmas Card (available on Netflix)
February - PamelaG - The Spirit of Christmas
March - jampss - Christmas in Connecticut (1945 version) or Muppet Christmas Carol
April - PamelaG - Deck the Halls
May - sweetpumkinpye - White Christmas
June - sweetpumkinpye - The Santa Clause
July - jollykelly - Christmas Vacation
August - Miss JoDee - The Preacher's Wife
September - luludou - You've Got Mail
October - housewife2 - Christmas with the Kranks
November - sweetpumpkinpye - Arthur Christmas

PamelaG thanks for getting us started on this.

I am going to pick June again, it is the Winter here and I will feel like watching something Chrismassy.
I think that I will pick The Santa Clause. I think it is a movie that most will have in their collections.

I posted this in Chit Chat but wanted to add it here - A quick note on the January Rudolph Day Movie - The Christmas Card - it's available for purchase for $5.00 if you have Amazon Prime. It's a lovely story - a great one to have in your Christmas DVD library.

February 2017 Rudolph Day is only five days away and there were no takers to host this month's movie so I picked one - The Spirit of Christmas - it's on Netflix, can be rented from Amazon Prime for $1.99 (or purchased for $9.99), and the DVD is available for $13.76 (if you have Amazon Prime, it will be on your doorstep in time for the 25th). Enjoy!

Oh, I forgot it was Rudy Day. Not one thing on my list to celebrate. I'll have to find something to do that is a little Christmasy.

Our Rudy days are certainly coming around quickly at the moment.
I spent some time with the kids finding out which dvd's they are collecting at the moment and adding those to the planner. I also wrote in the planner a list of stocking fillers that would be good to look for.

Only a week to go until April Rudolph Day so I'll pick Deck the Halls as this month's movie. Still looking for a May hostess!
