This is a cute idea for a countdown calendar....wish I had seen it before I did my big trip to Michael's over the weekend.

This shames me, as I am always so focused on Halloween that Thanksgiving is, quite frequently, just a big meal. Good, but not nearly as exciting or meaningful as it should be! There's still time! I'm Thankful fo rthis wake-up call! Thanks, teachermomof2!

What a nice idea! We write things we're thankful for on "colored leaves" before dinner on Thanksgiving day, but it still seems to get lost in the hub bub of the big meal. This is a much better way to get the point across and to spread out the true spirit of Thanksgiving! TFS!
